Initial Session
Our first session we have together is a 60-minute initial session as we will need 60 minutes to collect background information and establish goals for treatment. At that session, we can determine how long future sessions would be and how often you would be attending sessions depending on what your goals are and what type of treatment approach would work best for your unique challenges.
Insurance
As a specialist providing a quality tailored treatment experience, I do not accept insurance. However, I do provide “out of network” benefits allowing you to submit a superbill to your insurance provider to be reimbursed directly.
FAQ
To determine how many sessions you will need to cover on your own, contact your insurance provider. After you have met your deductible, you will typically be reimbursed 60%-80% of the session cost directly from your insurance provider.
I offer weekly and biweekly sessions for nurses depending on your challenges and the timeline you would like to see progress. The frequency of treatment is up to you ultimately, but we can make that decision together after the initial session.
Ultimately, the duration of treatment is entirely up to you. However to see lasting progress and change I recommend at least 6 months of treatment at a frequency of either weekly or biweekly.
Finding a therapist that is a good fit for you can be a challenge. After the initial session, if you determine that we are not a good fit I will be happy to provide you with a few referrals for you to shop around for a better fit for you.
